Corrections, Expressions of Concern, and Retractions
(For concerns about plagiarism, fraud, or other academic misconduct see Complaints and Appeals.) Disputation has always been a normal part of Philosophy. Hume Studies welcomes critical interventions, which are assessed by peer review like other submitted articles. Critical interventions may range from extended critiques of pieces published in Hume Studies or other journals to brief comments on misquotation, misattribution, or other errors. Authors are offered the opportunity to reply or, in cases of error, pre-empt a published critical intervention with a retraction or correction, offering due acknowledgement to the author of the critique.
