Copyright and Licensing

Copyright to Hume Studies is held by the Hume Society. Authors are free to reuse their own articles in other publications they write or edit on condition of acknowledgement of original publication in Hume Studies. They are also encouraged to post their preprint (pre-peer review) or accepted (post-peer review but not typeset) articles to personal and personalized professional websites such as PhilPeople and Academia on condition that they reference the formally peer-reviewed, copy-edited, and typeset version that appears in Hume Studies as the “version of record” of their work and stipulate that all citations and references should be drawn from it. Permission is required for other republication in any anthology, textbook, monograph, journal, database, or web site. Contact the editors for more information.
