Hume Studies publishes reflective work on the published thought of living or historical individuals. For acceptable use of information gleaned from unpublished correspondence with others see the “Authors” [link term to page] page under our Publication Ethics drop-down menu. Authors of papers reporting information obtained from archives must document the Archive’s permission for use of that information. Hume Studies does not publish original reports of research on human or other animal subjects.
